New Free Motion Quilting Design #354 "Blooming Christmas"

This new FMQ design was inspired by a beloved and old fashioned flower known as the Christmas Rose.

To accomplish the colour and pattern separation in this design it is stitched in three parts.

The flower centres are stitched first to determine the spacing of the pattern.

The flower petals are then stitched once clockwise around the centres then a second time to add the internal echoes.

To complete the design, simple leaves form a background fill around the flowers.

Named by popular vote, (Facebook & Instagram), with a little help from a random name picker at 6:00 PM (PDT) on Sunday, December 24, 2023 this design is now called “Blooming Christmas”.
