This workshop will focus on gently improving your FMQ skills as we work through a progression of designs to help you achieve smooth hand movement, confidence in adjusting your machines tension and how to choose the correct needle/thread/design combination.

Registration includes individual help with machine setup prior to class and unlimited email follow up.

In this Workshop you will learn how to set up your machine for successful Free Motion Quilting, the importance of the correct needle/thread/design combination, correct body and hand positioning, when and how to adjust your sewing machine tension plus how to correct common issues such as skipped stitches, shredded and breaking thread and eyelashing.

Students will stitch a series of beautiful Free Motion Quilting designs selected to encourage the development of smooth hand movement and fingertip control.

This Workshop includes individual help with machine setup prior to class and unlimited email follow up.
