There really is nothing like a classroom full of enthusiastic students.                                                      All of the attendees were amazing! So willing to try new things, take a risk and rise to any challenge.

I am beyond proud of them all!

In The Magic of Thread Painting students were introduced to photo editing, fusible applique, the when and why of stabilization and a variety of thread painting stitch techniques all in just three hours.

I think they all did a fabulous job!

My next workshop was Free Motion Quilting With Stencils.
Students learned how to use a quilting stencil to mark their fabric, the importance of filling in the bridges until you are accustomed to working with a new stencil, how directionality affects the ease of stitching and how to achieve smooth hand movement for beautiful stitching.

Of course, all of this takes practice and once again everyone did great!
