Juies Name Game - New Free Motion Quilting Design #393

Blue and green machine stitching on cream colored fabric

Sometimes you need a design that creates beautiful texture but that just flows with an easy rhythm 🎶

This new, free motion quilting design was inspired by listening to samba music.

There were many, many wonderful name suggestions and very lively voting on what to name this new design.
In the end, it came down to a tie.

The winner was chosen by popular vote (Facebook & Instagram) with a little help from a random name picker at 6:00 PM (PDT) on Sunday, September 22, 2024.

This design is now called “Let’s Dance”.

Thank you and congratulations to Cathy Parnell Vance for suggesting this wonderful, winning name!

Cathy is from Wesley Chapel, Florida, USA.

An Interesting But Not So Subtle Message

Photo of a black and yellow butterfly on a leaf

Recently, while out running errands with my husband I was hit (hard) in the face by a butterfly, a Western Tiger Swallowtail to be precise.

Who knew that a cute little creature like this could pack such a punch!

These particular butterflies symbolize renewal, enlightenment, and a change for the better.

Being hit in the face by a butterfly, (apparently, it’s a thing), is said to mean that you’re about to experience a positive life change.
It is also considered a message from a spirit guide or loved one who has passed on to let you know they are watching over you.

Well, they certainly got my attention!
Here’s to change and life’s little mysteries
🦋🦋🦋

Are you ready for a change?
Fall is the perfect time to learn a new quilting technique.
