Did you know that drawing your design prior to stitching is an important step to understanding how to make the pattern flow and where the repeats are?

Most of my new designs are drawn first as part of the creative process.

You don't have to be a great artist. I'm certainly not.  

Just let your imagination be free to play.   

If you can draw a design without lifting pen from paper then you can stitch it as a continuous line without having to break the thread.    

This week’s new Free Motion Quilting design, drawn in Freeform on my IPad, has been named.

This new Free Motion Quilting design with a nautical theme has been named.

As you can imagine, there were a LOT of fabulous name suggestions!
