The air is crisp, the leaves are changing colour and the pumpkins are in the field.

It’s time to register for my second annual, Virtual - Halloween Quilt Along.

Live, Hands-On

From the comfort of your own sewing room.

You’ll be done before the ghosts and goblins come to the door.

$35.

There will be lots of Treats, plenty of Tricks and even a recipe or two.

Participants will receive instructions for a variety of projects and work on their favourites with live support during the course of the day.

A PDF of the presentation and continuing support to finish your projects are provided by email after the live session has ended.

Some projects will have a spooky theme while others will be more of a Fall or even Winter theme depending on your fabric choices.

Thread painting is a Free Motion Quilting technique’ that uses layers of thread to create the appearance of brush strokes, shadows depth and texture.

In this beginners workshop students will learn how to turn a photograph into a line drawing, how to use a line drawing to create a fusible appliqué as a base for thread painting, how to use their machines straight and zig zag stitches to produce a variety of thread painting effects and much, much more.

This is the perfect workshop to have fun experimenting with lots of different threads!

During the class, students will work on a small rendition of a rose and will receive the supply list and files for the line drawing as well as the individual pieces reversed for fusible applique` at the time of registration.

All skill levels welcome.

This design was immensely popular with a huge number of likes and name suggestions.

This new Free Motion Quilting design, inspired by a 17th century hedge maze has been named.

This humble design received the most comments ever with an astounding 36 name suggestions.

It is also the first design to have the winning name honors shared by two namers.

How can that be you ask?
Well... when a name is suggested by two or more people I always go by the time stamp on the comment.
